CONSIGNMENT PROGRAMS – Since its founding more than 60 years ago,

 

In 1997, Pioneer Tool established a relationship with AutoCrib, Inc. – the leading manufacturer of vendor-managed inventory software and hardware solutions in the industry.  Pioneer Tool has always managed consigned inventory programs at customer locations.  But the evolution of technology enabled Pioneer Tool to enhance this service by installing a single PC that could control many Remote Dispensing Stations at a customer location.  Similar to a candy machine, these systems would enable machine operators to issue tools only after they logged in and entered specific data required by their managers.  Pioneer Tool consigned all of the inventory in the machines, and there was full accountability for each tool issued out of the machines.  Each morning, Pioneer Tool would log into the PC at the customer location to review current stock levels and to determine any trends that would require restocking the machines. 

 

Over the past 13 years, the concept remains the same.  Pioneer Tool is committed to managing a customer’s tooling inventory and preventing any stockouts based on daily analysis of stock levels.  AutoCrib continually designs and manufactures better products that are essential for Pioneer Tool to exceed customer expectations.
